This photo immediately reminded me of Homeland episode where Carrie and Saul were in a shooting battle in the streets, against snipers. Took a while to register the difference — unlike Homeland, this situation is very, very real, and happened in my hometown. Those are real people. That’s a gun gun. They have kids back home, and parents.
I’ve never been one to particularly empathize with the police, but goddamn.
